I adore this illustration and would happily have it as a giant framed picture on my wall.

My favourite dresses are:

1997
Frances McDormond – Richard Tyler

2003
Nicole Kidman – Jean Paul Gaultier

2003
Charlize Theron – Gucci

2011
Natalie Portman – Rodarte

I think those dresses are all so classic and would create a beautifully feminine silhouette.

I find it rather cool that Katherine Hepburn didn’t turn up to collect her award from The Academy four times!

If you could choose one of these red carpet dresses, which would you wear?

    Amazing! 🙂 Très chic!

Honestly, I can’t choose my favourite dress, there are so many I love! Though the top four would probably be:

Vivian Leigh, Susan Sarandon, Hilary Swank (2000) and Jennifer Lawrence.

Natalie Portman’s dress is beautiful, too. 🙂

The Hillary Swank one is so grand, it is stunning.

        Very true. 😀

I like to stick to classic, feminine looks that give an air of elegance to the person wearing the dress. 🙂

I guess I’ve a bit of fairy-tale style too, because I simply love gowns that look all princess-y.

I was actually going to say that as it reminded me of Bell’s dress in Beauty and the Beast :0)

I love Katharine Hepburn, such a smart and beautiful women of her time. I´ve learned a great deal of lessons from her! She was truly magnificent in “The African Queen.”

I only know her from Whatever Happened To Baby Jane. I’ve read some quotes and she sounded like she had such a dry and astute sense of wit. I’ll read more about her a watch The African Queen – thanks!
