Dig The City

This isn’t just for people who have a big garden or an allotment, this is for anyone who wants to get into urban gardening!

There will be all kinds of gardens around the centre of Manchester and beyond, from the stunning to the strange. Talks from Diarmuid Gavin and Rachel De Thame, an urban fate and live music everyday.

For the kids there is the National Trust tree house, bird box making, den building and a mini city farm with animals.

Restaurants, pubs and cafes will also be providing Dig The City inspired menus and offers.

All of these events are free but some require booking. For a giant list of what’s happening when and to book visit digthecity.co.uk

Fantastic deals from all of the eateries in the arndale. From money off, free sides and drinks their is bound to be something that you will want to take advantage of.

Here are some of my favourites:

Di Maggio’s Italian Cafe – Lunch of pizza or pasta, garlic bread and chips for just £4.95.

Eat – free tea or coffee with every purchase after 2.30pm.

Millie’s Cookies – 20% off giant cookies, fruit coolers and milkshakes.

I ❤ Bobo Tea – Any small drink including a topping for £2. (I’ve always wanted to try this).

Yo! Sushi – Free miso soup or green tea or hand roll or edamame with any purchase.

Bella Italia – A massive 25% off your food bill.

You can download vouchers as a PDF here or pick up a book from inside the arndale.

Will you be attending any events or know of any great offers in Manchester this month?
