Victory for Bunnies!!

I’ve just read about this wonderful news and thought I’d share it with all of you lovely people.

Cruelty Free


Last Thursday it was Angora day for PETA UK, in which thousands of people took the streets, social medias, the phones and all other sources available to urge Benetton, one of the last major brands still selling the cruelly produced angora fur.

And it worked!! Thursday evening last week, Benetton announced their ban on angora fur!


This means that almost every high street store now has a ban on angora, and this means that the angora trade in China is slowly collapsing. Last year saw angora exports in China down by 76%, and hopefully this year will see an even bigger decline and hopefully the end of the trade in the very near future.


This is such happy news; far fewer rabbits will be suffering for this awful trade and ultimately their suffering might finally come to an end.

  1. If only we could do the same for the ivory trade….and animal parts…sigh…getting involved,with a new blog in the next few months around animal rescue from a project I am involved in….every bit helps๐Ÿ˜Š great news!!!!
