Deadpool
I’ve never read the comics but I hear he is one bad-ass super hero (despite the jumper) with a wonderfully dark sense of humour. He’s also a former special forces operative who’s been experimented on and now heals quicker than normal – a lot quicker.
The Divergent Series: Allegiant
Having not yet watched Insurgent I seriously need to catch up with this series! In this instalment Beatrice Prior and Tobias Eaton venture beyond the wall and are taken into custody by a mysterious agency but can they be trusted?
Batman V’s Superman: Dawn of Justice
I have no idea why these two dudes should be fighting each other in the first place (my money is always on Batman) but they decide they have to work together to stop Doomsday a creation of old nemesis Lex Luther. I’m not going to mention Affleck’s previous incarnation of a super hero – ahem.
The Huntsman Winter’s War
Eric the Huntsman who previously saved Snow White is about to play the hero again. He teams up with his forbidden love Sara to save the land from the evil queen and her sister. How many evil siblings does this Queen have!?
Alice Through The Looking Glass
Alice has to travel back in time to Wonderland to save her old friend The Mad Hatter.
Finding Dory
I love this forgetful little fish so I’m obviously looking forward to seeing this. If I give you the plot then it basically spoils the ending so I won’t.
Star Treck Beyond
Zachary Quinto reprises his role as Spock (such perfect casting) and is also joined by Idris Elba and Zoe Saldana. Sounds great already, even without a synopsis.
Ghostbusters
I love the new spin on this old series with an all female ghost busting team but I’d be watching it anyway. I wonder if they will have a male secretary? It’s also another film featuring Chris Hemsworth, not that I’m complaining.
The BFG
For anyone who wasn’t lucky enough to read Roald Dahl’s BFG this is the story of a girl befriending a big friendly giant who collects children’s dreams and gives them pleasant ones in return. Unfortunately other giants prefer eating children as a snack!
Suicide Squad
I have to admit I wasn’t aware of Suicide Squad before the huge buzz surrounding this film but since looking into the characters and the premise in general I’m so excited to see this! A secret government agency recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for mercy.
Dr Strange
Not too sure about this one but it does sound rather intriguing according to IMDB ‘After his career is destroyed a brilliant but arrogant surgeon gets a new lease on life when a sorcerer takes him under his wing and trains him to defend the world against evil.’
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
Sound familiar? It’s the book Harry Potter reads and now we get to discover this secret New York community of witches and wizards which existed 70’s years previously.
Which ones are you looking forward to?
