When you think of Winter skincare do you immediately think of thick pore clogging creams?  My combination skin has never gotten along with heavy moisturisers  and it’s amazing how many of these don’t contain an SPF of any kind. Anyone who wants to prevent skin ageing knows that they must protect their skin from the suns harmful rays all year round, no matter how weak those rays may appear.

ERiiS Sun Protection Milk

When I first looked at the pea sized amount of ERiiS Sun Protection Milk (£17.85) it looked rather thick but I soon realised this really does have a milky consistency which spreads very easily. My skin also absorbed it incredibly quickly and didn’t feel remotely tacky afterward.

As this sun protection milk includes vitamins A,C and E and is very gentle, I’ve started to use this on my face everyday. This really is the perfect facial moisturiser I’ve been trying to find since approaching my mid-thirties. It’s also a nice feeling to know that when it’s cold outside but the Winter sun isn’t blocked by clouds that my skin won’t be damaged unnecessarily.

  • ERiiS Sun Protection Milk can be used all year round and goes up to factor 50!
  • UVA, UVB and Infra Red protection
  • Delicate anti-aging formula with fresh carrot cells and vitamins A,C and E
  • Non-greasy formula which sinks into skin quickly
  • Free from parabens and allergens

I am so rubbish with moisturisers and creams – I find they are so often too thick and I feel dirty within a couple of hours. Much prefer the milky consistency ones – thanks for the recommendation.

I know what you mean. I hate it when my skin feels greasy and tacky after a few hours because I took the time to moisturise it! I don’t think I’d be able to stand using any other sun cream other than this from now on.

That’s an interesting one – is it moisturising enough for winter months? I always need a much heavier moisturiser in winter, especially if I’m working somewhere which is very well-heated as it totally dries out my skin.

I have really very combination skin so that’s why it worked so well for me. If you are inclined to have rather dry skin in Winter you will probably need your regular moisturiser as well.
