Hyaluronic Acid Serum
Active ingredients: Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Retinol, Aloe Vera, and Shea Extract.
I applied this to my face when my skin was paper dry and within 30 minutes my skin felt more moisturised so I didn’t need an extra moisturiser. The product carried on drawing moisture into my skin throughout the day and the oil levels in my skin were kept balanced. I have a lot of old acne scarring which has created an orange peel texture on my cheeks and they looked plumper and therefor smoother. I’m very impressed with this product!
Vitamin C Serum
Active ingredients: Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, Retinol, Vitamin E, Ferulic Acid, Rosehip and Jojoba oil.
I’ve only been using this for four days so I’m not sure of the effect long term use would have. I have noticed that my skin feels moisturised and doesn’t need any additional moisturiser and it has a youthful radiance to it (which it usually never has) and looks a little plumper. I was told by a friend that I looked really well and they asked if I’d changed my base (foundation, BB cream ect.) but I was barefaced without any makeup. I don’t always have the confidence to do this (even when I’m not blotchy) but now I have.
Note
Retinol can make skin sensitive to sunlight so I do not recommend using these two products together and use sparingly on very sunny days along with your usual sunscreen.
