We know that flights now have a green tax added to them, the further you fly, the more unenvironmentally friendly that is, the more tax you pay, to encourage people to think twice about air travel.
Well, imagine if every item had a green tax on it so the farther it travels from production to your trolley or the less biodegradable the packaging etc the more tax it has, encouraging people to buy locally.
