It’s 10th December for airmail – better than it used to be. I’ve only been Australia once at Christmas – over 10yrs ago. They have Christmas songs on in shops etc, decorations in street but it’s not as full on generally – theres not extra stuff on TV because people outside more – ppl do family stuff and watching/doing sport on boxing day. the food eating is bit different too – (not barbque on beach cliché tho)

They cook turkey in gad kettle Bbq in garden (ie it’s an oven) and roast veg as kitchen gets too hot
