This has the best consistency of any black nail polish I’ve ever used. Two were too thick and goopy and one was so thin it required three coats and then chipped the same day. This requires two coats and glides on perfectly. The brush is a descent width and the bottle is easy hold.

The colour is a very flattering shade of black. Not gloss paint black but more of a printing ink shade of black, with a subtle sheen. It also lasts around three – four days without chipping if used with a good top coat.

Zoya nail polish is free from: Camphor, toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin and DBP (dibutyl phthalate).

Available from their own US site or Holland & Barrett for people in the UK

[…] I absolutely love this colour of Zoya nail polish! A pretty medium 80’s kind of pink in daylight, tropical pinky-orange in the evening and almost illumines orange in bar/club lighting. Read my review of Zoya nail polishes here. […]

No probs, I struggled to at first. Ciate are Amazing and obvious.y Barry M, then there’s Nails Inc and Butter (not too sure if those last two have parent companies who test) and Star Gazer and Manic Panic but not the mate black polish, it’s like tar! Happy painting!
