Naturtint Colour Fixing Shampoo £8.59 400ml
What they say…
‘Rock Rose and Lemon Fruit Waters give nourishment and strength to your hair, whilst Natural Bio lipids and Polymers provide softness and shine, and Lavender Floral Water calms and moisturises the scalp. Sunflower Floral Water naturally seals split ends and locks in colour.’
My verdict…
I’m impressed that this shampoo is organic and contains no SLS or silicone. The consistency was thin enough and it foamed up enough to spread through my thick hair without diluting it in a cup of water first. On rinsing it did not leave my hair feeling like matted straw (like some other shampoos have) and I didn’t notice any of my blue dye escaping down the drain either. After conditioning with a standard conditioner, my hair looked incredibly shiny; it still had a lot of colour left and was no more frizzy than it naturally is.

Naturtint Styling Mouse £10.99 150ml
What they say…
‘The active ingredients add body, elasticity and shine without drying the hair or leaving a tacky feel.
The gentle formula moisturises your scalp and guards against the effects of humidity, leaving a silky, not sticky feeling to your hair, with effective holding power.’
My verdict…
They are right about the non sticky feeling and the mouse not drying out hair. However it’s holding power is very tame and my hair frizzed out like crazy as soon as I went out in incredibly light rain. I’m used to rain re-activating mouse!? However, it defined my natural waves so well that I’d describe them as loose curls. The second time I used this on much wetter hair and afterward when it was still a little damp I applied some hair oil to seal it so it didn’t frizz. This combination worked incredibly well! If your hair isn’t naturally dry/wiry and you want natural looking definition that isn’t matte (unlike salt spray), then this is the perfect product for you.
