As soon as I saw these Holographic Eye Toppers by Barry M (£4.99) I knew I had to get at least two of the four shades because, as you know, I’m a sucker for anything shiny!
As the name suggests they are meant to go on top of eyeshadow for a highly pigmented look but you can also use them on bare lids for a subtler more ethreal look or (if you have a thin linner brush, as apposed to the doe foot applicator provided) as eyelinner. They are’t sticky, which I like but as you can imagine this does mean there is quite a bit of fall out at first. People with hooded eyes will want to keep their eyes open until it dries or you will get an unintentionally sparkly cut crease.
Here they are on top of eyeshadow which is a very similar colour and as you can see they are incredibly bright. Similar colour density when used alone as a thick stripe of eyeliner.
All shades are vegan and do not contain any beetle or fish scale.
