Guru by Rupaul (Sphere publishing £14.99) is 191 page photograph book that is also full of wisdom, insight and and one-linners that slay, proving she’ll never sashay away.

I decided to treat myself to this for Christmas and I’m so glad I did! This would make a great little coffee table book for anyone who’s more creative and quirky, rather than pretentious and snobby.

A lovely detail I found at the back is a list of Ru’s fave books, films and music!

    I absolutely LOVE Rupaul! I feel like through watching drag race I have found my inner diva and her saying “if you can’t love yourself how in the hell are you going to love somebody else” has fast become a life mantra for me! Might have to add this to my Christmas list!! x

      Yaas! I remember it from a long time ago where it used to be ‘If you can’t love yourself, how is anybody else going to love you.’ but I think Ru’s take on it is much more positive and healthy. You should treat yourself!
