Halloween Pumpkin and Cobweb Nails

Hello lovely people. This is my first attempt at using nail decals for about twenty years!

Polish – Spicy Mango by Barry M Cosmetics

Decals – Clawed by Grace on Etsy

Polish Fortune Teller by Barry M Cosmetics

Much easier than I thought but I made two mistakes

1) I applied the pumpkin facing myself, rather than outward 😆

2) I went over the pumpkin with a sparkly nail varnish that wasn’t as sheer as I thought. I should have applied the sparkly coat before and then gone over the decal with a clear top coat (which I did with the cobweb decal).

I’ve got a new topcoat ordered from Orly Nails UK (with a fantastic easy grip lid).

Which is your fave?

Creepy Cute Nail Decals by Clawed By Grace

Hello lovely people! 🔮

These wickedly wonderful nail decals are from ClawedbyGrace. I thought I better share these quickly so that you can order them yourself before Halloween, although I’ll be using these all year round.

These are basically just transfers that you cut out, place on your nails, dab water onto the back of them and then slide the back off, just like the old fake tattoos. It’s always a good idea to glide a top coat over to make them last.

Right, I’m off to have a look at which colours of polish I have…

The Diary by Sinclair Smith – Point Horror

Hello lovely people! 🎃

Who remembers 90’s Point Horror series?

One of my fave series as a teen as they were short enough to hold my shockingly short attention span.

‘Delia can’t stop reading the old diary which mysteriously appears in her locker one day. Little by little, she starts to become more like the girl whose words she reads – even having her memories and seeing the world through her eyes. A dead girl’s eyes. Soon Delia is convinced that she was the girl who wrote the diary – in a past life.’ – Goodreads

But the terror is about to come alive once more. For the girl who wrote the diary was murdered.

The Diary by Sinclair Smith has a mild fantasy-horror vibe. It’s fairly predictable but in an enjoyable way and has a few good twists near the end, which I didn’t see coming.

Halloween Black Cat Look

Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone has the purrrfect Halloween. 😺

I needed a cat nap earlier but I’m really getting into it meow. 😸

Sorry if I’ve made your brain fall into uncanny-valley territory. It’s less scary than the cast of the film Cats though I’m sure! 🙀
