It’s getting to that time of year again where explosions and giant fires are eagerly welcomed across the city – Bonfire Night! This year Manchester City Council are organising 3 free bonfires and firework displays.
Platt Fields, Wythenshawe Park, Heaton Park
Funfair 5.00-9.30pm
Bonfire 7.30pm followed by fireworks
MCC recommend you get there early if you want to get a place near the bonfire. Bringing your own sparklers is forbidden and obviously you need to wrap up warm, although vans selling hot food will be there.
I went to the display at Platt Fields last year which was really impressive and the vibe from the crowd was really heart warming but my hands where freezing!
