We’ve all heard of a well known beauty brand who’s representatives can come around to your house and hold a pamper party and which also let’s you shop online – well Tropic is the same except it’s cruelty free and vegan! Tropic is BUAV and The Vegan Society approved! All products are also free from mineral oils, unsustainable palm oils, parabens, SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate), petrochemicals, MIT (Methylisothiazolinone), Alcohol, synthetic fragrances and harsh preservatives.
They say…
“You should be able to trust what you put on your skin and for that reason, we are committed to using only premium, responsibly sourced natural ingredients. Hand made with the freshest ingredients in our brand new Surrey Beauty Kitchen, we have taken quality and freshness to a new level.”
I’m going to be featuring several of their products over the following months but I will start with this gorgeous A Walk On The Beach gift box £24
The ‘polishing pebble’
This is most innovative and unique thing I’ve seen for a while. It’s essentially a giant pebble made from sand from the beaches of Bora Bora, the cleansing volcanic ash of Tahiti and glycerine based Organic Foaming Soap, Organic Aloe Vera & Coconut Oil.
This is the perfect size to hold in my hand and the pebble felt smooth and had body and weight to it. It gently exfoliated, cleansed and moisturised my skin perfectly. It’s scent of Spearmint & Eucalyptus reminded me of being in a spa – lovely!
Repairing Foot Remedy
I realised this is more than just a foot balm as the Aspen Bark and Salicylic Acids literally melted away the dead skin on my feet (I have rather tough pads like cat paws!) and then the Apricot Kernel, Avocado, Illipe, Kokum & Cupuacu butters made my (now super smooth) feet feel moisturised all over. Now all parts of my feet feel as soft as my instep!

Tropic representative Dawn kindly gave me samples of two different clay face masks both £25 for 100ml. I’ve tried clay masks in the past and they have have sucked excess sebum – all of the sebum in fact, out of my skin but after using the Radiance Clay Mask my skin felt like velvet. The Warming Mineral Mask contains Pink Clay, Monoi Butter to sooth and Rosehip Oil to repair so it was perfect for when my skin was having a sensitive day and left it feeling calm and moisturised.
Would you try any of these?
This set was gifted to me for review purposes, which does not affect my opinion. Honest as always!
