The alternative blog for cruelty free skincare, veggie food and alt/geek culture

I got this term ‘core aesthetic’ stuck in my head and couldn’t remember why or where I’d gotten it from. Then I remembered it had something to do with letting Pinterest find your specific look. I typed ‘Chrissie core aesthetic’.

Here’s what it came up with for me…

Alternative and urban things like neon signs, a skull, tough but feminine style, a little bit of bling and even a bee – the symbol of Manchester.

Pinterest has well got me sussed!

I’d love to know what you get and if you agree?

Oh cool! I didn’t know you could do this! Yours fit your style, for sure! Mine turned out to be a lot of grungy typography, neon signs, & dark-toned nature photos haha.

Lol I was surprised, too. Mine matched my Tumblr more than my Pinterest?

Have you been wandering around woods at night, placing neon signs with a 90’s grungy outlook like ‘better weird than boring’ hon?

I love yours! The gothy girly vibe. Perfect. I got a leather jacket that reads, “Not Your Baby,” some kuawii images, a denim smock dress with pockets used as planters, and some commentary on anxiety/depression. I’d say it’s spot on. That was fun, thx Chrissie! ❤️
